Am I proactive?

Have you heard about the man who begged God for years to allow him to win the lottery? Every day he got down on his knees and shouted to heaven, "Please let today be the day I win!" After a year of no response, he went to his teacher to ask what he was doing wrong. His teacher asked him, "Did you buy a ticket?" It's a great place to be when you recognize the existence of the Creator and learn how to humbly ask for help. But the secret to getting your prayers answered is this, "God translates our prayers based on our actions." (Karen Berg, Simple Light)

From kaballah wisdom

There once was a woman whose young son was diabetic, and not only was her son a fan of sugar, but he was also a fan of Gandhi. The mother decided to seek out Gandhi's wisdom. She and her son rode a train for three days to seek the advice of the renowned spiritual leader. When they arrived at his home, they waited on line for hours until they were finally invited to speak with him. Once the mother explained the story, Gandhi replied, "please come back in 30 days." Rather than travel back and forth, the woman and her son found temporary housing, and she took a job as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. After 30 days, they returned to Gandhi, seeking his advice yet again. This time Gandhi stood up, held the boy by his shoulders, and said, "My son, you must stop eating sugar." The mother was enraged. "With all due respect, we traveled a great distance to seek your counsel, and this is all you have to tell us?" To which Gandhi replied, "Madam, I could not ask your son to do something that I myself could not do. Only yesterday was I able to completely cut sugar out of my diet." - we cannot expect others to do things we aren't able to do ourselves-

From the Kabbalah Centre

Thursday, March 27 Balance is what we are all looking for, isn't it? A balanced bank account, balanced relationships, balance between work and play. Balance. But most of us are imbalanced, aren't we? We take too much or give too little; we pig out for weeks, months, years on end and then we do these crash diets expecting to be detoxed on the spot; we're cold and unemotional one minute, open and vulnerable the next. It's no wonder the world is so out of whack. In case you haven't learned this kabbalistic teaching yet, let me be the first to tell you: humanity is the center of the universe. As we act, so the world reacts. Today, seek balance. Discover where you have swung too far to one side of the behavioral spectrum. Maybe you've been especially down and shut in lately, so find ways to pick yourself up and get out there with the people. Perhaps you've been everyone's doormat, so practice receiving for a change. Or maybe you're just perfect, so, hey, let me know your secret.

o lobo da estepe

An old Cherokee was teaching his young grandson one of life’s most important lessons. He told the young boy the following parable:
“There is a fight going on inside each of us. It is a terrible fight between two wolves,” he said.
“One wolf is evil. He is anger, rage, envy, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The second wolf is good. He is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, empathy, truth, compassion, and faith.”
The grandson thought about this for a moment. Then he asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win this fight?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
Which one are you feeding today?

Desejo a vocês...

Fruto do mato

Cheiro de jardim

Namoro no portão

Domingo sem chuva

Segunda sem mau humor

Sábado com seu amor...

Chope com amigos

Viver sem inimigos

Ter uma pessoa especial

E que ela goste de você

Música de Tom com letra de Chico

Frango caipira em pensão do interior

Ouvir uma palavra amável

Ter uma surpresa agradável

Ver a Banda passar

Noite de lua cheia

Rever uma velha amizade

Ter fé em Deus

Não ter que ouvir a palavra não

Nem nunca, nem jamais e adeus.

Rir como criança

Ouvir canto de passarinho.

Sarar de resfriado

Escrever um poema de Amor

Que nunca será rasgado

Formar um par ideal

Tomar banho de cachoeira

Pegar um bronzeado legal

Aprender um nova canção

Esperar alguém na estação

Queijo com goiabada

Pôr-do-Sol na roça

Uma festa Um violão Uma seresta

Recordar um amor antigo

Ter um ombro sempre amigo

Bater palmas de alegria

Uma tarde amena

Calçar um velho chinelo

Sentar numa velha poltrona

Tocar violão para alguém

Ouvir a chuva no telhado

Vinho branco

Bolero de Ravel

E muito carinho meu.

E meu também
